Ann Southam

Ann Southam CM ( born February 4, 1937 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, † November 25, 2010 in Toronto, Ontario) was a Canadian composer.

Southam studied at the University of Toronto piano with Pierre Souvairan, composition with Samuel Dolin and electronic music with Gustav Ciamaga. She has worked as a freelance composer in Toronto and composed electronic music for the Toronto Dance Theatre, orchestral, chamber and piano music.

In 2010 she was a member of the Order of Canada.
