Anna Faris

Anna Kay Faris ( born November 29, 1976 in Baltimore, Maryland ) is an American actress, film producer, voice actress and singer.

Life and career

Biography

Anna Faris grew up in Edmonds, Washington, north of Seattle. Her parents, Karen and Jack Faris, they encouraged early in life to acting. Her acting debut Faris at the age of nine years at the Seattle Repertory Theatre. After graduating from the Edmonds Woodway High School, she studied English at the University of Washington.

Film career

After her film debut in Lovers Lane (1999), Faris moved to Los Angeles. In the horror spoof Scary Movie (2000 ) and its sequels Scary Movie 2 (2001 ) Scary Movie 3 (2003) and Scary Movie 4 (2006) she played the lead role and has been in this role for the MTV Movie Awards in two categories nominated. After Lost in Translation (2003), she managed to show a serious side in Brokeback Mountain ( 2005).

In the movies Alvin and the Chipmunks 2 (2009) and Alvin and the Chipmunks 3: Chipwrecked (2011) Faris said Jeanette in the original English versions. Also, the female protagonist of the animated film Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs ( 2009), Sam Sparks, she lent her voice.

From 2010 to 2011 Anna Faris was in the comedy Take Me Home Tonight, What's Your Number, and Yogi Bear, watch. However, this could prove no great success. In 2012 she played in the film The Dictator.

Private life

2004 married Faris their fellow actor Ben Indra, whom she had met on the set of Lovers Lane 1999. However, on 3 April 2007, she filed for divorce. Since July 9, 2009, she is married in second marriage with fellow actor Chris Pratt. In August 2012, their son came to the world.
