Anna Maria of Brandenburg

Anna Maria of Brandenburg (* February 3, 1567 at Schloss Zechlin, † November 14, 1618 in Wollin ) was a princess of Brandenburg and by marriage Duchess of Pomerania.

Life

Anna Maria was a daughter of the Elector of Brandenburg, Johann Georg (1525-1598) from his second marriage with Sabina (1548-1575), daughter of Margrave George of Brandenburg -Ansbach.

They married on January 8, 1581 in Berlin, Duke Barnim X of Pomerania ( 1540-1603 ). The engagement had taken place the year before.
