Anna Massey

Anna Massey, CBE ( born August 11, 1937 in Thakeham, West Sussex as Anna Raymond Massey; † 3 July 2011) was a British actress.

Life

Massey's film career began in 1958 with the film Gideon 's Day. In her second film Peeping Tom, who at the time created a scandal, she portrayed Helen. Her parents, Raymond Massey and Adrianne Allen, were actors. Her older brother was the actor Daniel Massey. Her uncle Vincent Massey was 1952-1959 Governor General of Canada. Anna Massey married in 1990 a second time. From her first marriage to Jeremy Brett, with whom she was married from 1958 to 1962, comes from the writer David Huggins. She died of cancer.
