Anna Nalick

Anna Christine Nalick ( born March 30, 1984 in Glendora, California) is an American singer- songwriter.

Biography

Nalick grew up in Glendora, east of Pasadena on. Write With the song she started in the fifth grade. She says she would have been influenced by Fiona Apple, Tori Amos, Blind Melon, John Mayer, and Stevie Ray Vaughan. During high school she wrote songs and played in a Rush - Cover Band. My original plan was to go to college and then to start a musical career. But about relationships she could produce a professional demo and then signed with 19 in October 2003, their recording contract with Columbia Records.

Nalicks debut album Wreck of the Day was released on 19 April 2005 in the United States.

The first single Breathe (2 AM) was played in the popular television series Grey's Anatomy Episode As We Know It. It was also in the following song beneath the song a cover version of the song, sung by Chyler Leigh played. It also in the soundtrack to the 2006 movie turned Griffin & Phoenix ( a drama about two cancer patients who find each other ) was included. The song was so popular over time that now has 5 different karaoke versions are offered (including Amazon ).

On 12 July 2008 it was announced that Nalick working on her second album Broken Doll. The album will also include her published on 1 April 2008 in the U.S. as EP song Shine. Shine was made public previously on January 28, 2008 the AOL Music page.

On 31 October 2008 married Nalick Tim Foster in the Autumn Ridge Church Los Angeles. Tim Foster is a photographer and had shot with photos for her debut album.

On 10 February 2010, the EP Shine appeared in Germany, each with an acoustic version of the title "Shine ", " Breathe" and " Wreck of the Day".
