Anna Prugova

Anna Alexandrovna Prugowa (Russian Анна Александровна Пругова, born 20 November 1993, Khabarovsk ) is a Russian ice hockey goalkeeper, who is under contract with Moskovskaya Oblast tornado since 2010 and plays for the Russian national team.

Career

Prugowa attended a Super League game of the Amur Khabarovsk at the age of 11 years. She discovered the then keeper of the Amur, Alex Westlund, and she wrote to then one at the hockey school of Amur. At 14, she played along with age-matched boys. They fell on the coaching staff of Moskovskaya Oblast Tornado, which obliged Prugiwa. With Tornado, she won several times the Russian Championship and 2010, 2012 and 2013 IIHF European Women Champions Cup.

Anna Prugowa studied at the Russian State University of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism.

In 2007 she made her debut in the Junior Women 's National Team in a Four Nations Tournament in Dmitrov. There, they quickly established itself and repressed Anna Vinogradova of the goalkeeper position. In 2009, she participated with the U18 National Team at the U18 Junior World Championship, where this came in seventh place. In 2010, Anna Prugowa received the nomination for the Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver and was 16 years old and 86 days the youngest player of Hockey tournament. The Russians occupied the sixth place, with Prugowa in the group match against the United States was used and has been replaced with the score at 12:10 in the 31 minute.

From 2011 Prugowa belonged firmly to the national squad and graduated from the World Championships in 2011, 2012 and 2013, where they won the bronze medal in 2013.
