Annandale distillery

Annandale is a whiskey distillery in Annan, Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland.

History

The distillery was founded in 1830 by George Donald near the town of Annan. 1883 Annandale went over to John Gardner, who in turn sold after ten years of Johnnie Walker. However, this put them in 1919 still and sold the land to a family Robinson, the agriculture business there. 2007, the building of David Thomson and Teresa Church were purchased and used again from 2010 as a distillery. 2011 to be held the first burn.

The distillery was visited mid-1880s by Alfred Barnard, thereby providing a detailed account of the distillery is obtained at this time. The annual output of the distillery is said to have amounted at that time 28,000 gallons.
