Annasee

Natural Monument

The Annasee is a natural lake about three kilometers northeast of Beilstein in the district of Heilbronn in the north of Baden -Württemberg. As areal natural monument he is under protection.

Geography

The Annasee is about three kilometers northeast of Beilstein near the hamlet Gagernberg in Beilsteiner city forest. The lake is fed from the particular higher parcel Dautzenbühl and naturally dammed up by the water- Latvians ground.

History

The lake and the surrounding forest city listed has always been the property of the municipality of Beilstein. The lake was named in the 19th century as Tannen. 1846 its size was designated six and a half morning. In 1901, the Cluss ice Brauerei moved out of the lake. Between 1923 and 1931 the lake at the nearby hamlet Gagernberg was leased. 1931 ran the lake through the opening of a discharge device for extinguishing water withdrawal by Beilstein almost out and was several times deslimed it. Since 1951, the lake is protected landscape area. The fish water of the lake is leased to the fishing club Heilbronn- Sontheim.
