Anne Mette Hansen

Anne Mette Hansen ( born August 25, 1994) is a Danish handball player who belonged to the squad of the Danish national team.

Career

Hansen began playing handball (short: FHH90 ) at the Danish club Fløng / Hedehusene Håndbold. From 2010 the backcourt player attended a sports school in Copenhagen and joined the club Ajax København. With the women's team of Ajax it is running on in the second highest Danish league. From the 2014/15 season she is the first division København Håndbold under contract.

Hansen gave her debut in 2011 in the Danish U17 national team. In the same year she won the silver medal at the U17 European Championship. A year later, Hansen won the gold medal at the U18 World Cup. In the final against Russia, they scored the most goals for the Danish selection. Next, Hansen took part in the U19 European Championship in 2013, when she won the bronze medal. In addition, she was elected to the All-Star Team of the EM.

Hansen announced on October 27, 2013 their debut in the senior team. Shortly afterwards, the Dane took part in the World Championships in Serbia and won the bronze medal. In the third group match against Algeria they had eight hits, the most prolific player in the Danish jersey. Throughout the tournament they scored 15 goals in nine games.
