Anne Wojcicki

Anne Wojcicki ( born June 28, 1973 at the San Mateo County, California) is an American entrepreneur in biotechnology.

She is the daughter of the physics professor at Stanford University, Stanley Wojcicki, and Esther Wojcicki, a journalist and educator. Her sister Susan Wojcicki is Vice President at Google. Wojcicki acquired in 1996 her Bachelor 's degree in biology from Yale University and then worked for ten years as an analyst specializing in biotechnology companies. In 2006 she founded Linda Avey and other genetic testing for the company 23andMe in Mountain View.

2008 23andMe genetic test Invention of the Year by Time Magazine and Wojcicki has been counted in 2013 by Time among the 40 most influential people in the technology sector (Time Tech 40).

It is one of the founders of the Breakthrough Prize in Life Sciences. Since 2007 she is married to Google founder Sergey Brin. Having children are a son and a daughter.
