Anni-Kristiina Juuso

Kristiina Juuso Anni- ( Northern Sami: Anne Risten Juuso; born May 4, 1979 in Ivalo, Inari, Finland ) is a Sámi actress from Finland.

Juuso was born in 1979 in the village of Ivalo in Finnish Lapland and speaks their native language Northern Sami and Finnish and English. At the age of six years matured to become an actress in her the decision. However, it took several more years until she could realize her dream. At 15, she left her family and her hometown and moved to Helsinki to attend a theatrical middle school, followed by training at a drama school in the Finnish capital.

During her apprenticeship, she worked as a presenter at the Finnish Sami Yleisradio for the program. Her film debut was in 2001 in the Russian war strips kukushka - The cuckoo. For her film debut she has won several awards, so the Russian Film Festival, Vyborg as " Best Actress ", and at the International Film Festival of Moscow as the " Most Promising Actress ".
