Anselmo Cardoso

Anselmo Cardoso Gonçalves ( born January 6, 1984 in Freiria ) is a Portuguese football player. He plays since 2009 with Nacional in the Super League, the Portuguese top.

Career

Cardoso began his career at homeland club Freiria from where he moved to SC União Torreense. There he played a total of three years before he was hired by CF Estrela Amadora. In his first season the club finished ninth in the Portuguese top was. Tenth place in the following season could be achieved. After finishing 13 of the club in 2008/ 09 from rose, due to financial problems, according to eleventh place.

Then, the striker joined the club and went to Nacional Funchal. There he was in the 2009/10 Europa League season debut at European club level, when he came off the bench in the match against Werder Bremen on 3 December 2009 in the 87th minute for Leandro Salino. The game ended in Bremen 1:4. Nacional finished seventh in the championship of the league.
