Anselmo Lorenzo

Anselmo Lorenzo Asperilla (* April 21, 1841 in Toledo, † November 30, 1914 in Barcelona) was a Spanish anarchist and trade unionist.

Lorenzo is also referred to as the "grandfather of Spanish anarchism ." With Giuseppe Fanelli and others, he founded in 1868 the first Spanish sections of the International Working Men's Association and in 1910 was co-founded the Confederación Nacional del Trabajo (CNT ).
