Anthony Deku

Deku keeps the standard VII Scholar / Advance Polive Carrer and is a former commissioner of the Ghanaian police in the Criminal Investigations Department ( CID). In this position he was involved in the coup of February 24, 1966 against the then President Kwame Nkrumah.

After the coup Deku was a member of the eight-member National Liberation Council, which had taken over the affairs of state until 1969 and was replaced on the elections in 1969 by the three-member presidential commission, but in the Deku was no longer a member.

Deku is still politically active in the Council of State ( Ghana) in Ghana. There the topics " police career" and "Safety advice" regarded as his special interests.

Deku is on a list of persons who are to be honored by President John Agyekum Kufuor for special services. He was nominated for the Medal Order of the Star of Ghana.
