Anthony Geslin

Anthony Geslin ( born June 9, 1980 in Alençon ) is a French cyclist.

Career

Geslin won the 1998 the major junior race Trofeo Karlberg and was at the Chrono des Herbiers second. Even its title as the French time trial champion he could defend in the same year. In 2000, he turned professional with the French cycling team Bonjour. He drives still there, however, the sponsor of the team is called Bouygues Télécom.

In 2003 he was second in each GP Ouest France - Plouay and the GP Rudy Dhaenens. His first professional victory he celebrated in 2004 the route Adélie. After his first Tour de France participation in 2005 he succeeded his biggest success. The road Cycling World Championships, he finished in the road race from a 25 - man breakaway group in third place behind Tom Boonen and Alejandro Valverde. He proved his good qualities Sprint.
