Anthony Grant (footballer)

Anthony Paul Shaun dAure Grant ( born June 4, 1987 in Lambeth ) is an English footballer. He was part of the youth department of FC Chelsea and stands at Crewe Alexandra now under contract.

Sports career

The London-born Anthony Grant went through the youth ranks of FC Chelsea and came on 10 May 2005 against Manchester United as a substitute for Joe Cole to his first short stint in the Premier League. Previously, he had made during the past season as a defender in the Reserveelf a name and has now been promoted to the 2005/06 season in the first team of the reigning English champions. However, further experience was gained only again in January 2006 when he was awarded for a month to the third division Oldham Athletic and there played two league games.
