Anthony Grey, 9th Earl of Kent

Anthony Grey, 9th Earl of Kent (* 1557, † November 9, 1643 ) was an English nobleman.

He was a son of George Grey and Margery Salvaine. About his father he was a direct descendant of George Grey, 2nd Earl of Kent and his second wife Catherine Herbert.

Grey married Magdalene Purefoy, a daughter of William Purefoy and Katherine Wigston. They had several children, including his son Henry, on the death of Anthony Grey passed the noble title of Earl of Kent. This title he had inherited in 1639 upon the death of his childless deceased second cousin, Henry Grey, 8th Earl of Kent.
