Anthony Young, Baron Young of Norwood Green

Anthony Ian Young, Baron Young of Norwood Green ( born April 14, 1942) is a British politician ( Labour ). He was from 1989 to 1995 Secretary General of the National Communications Union. In addition, he was also head of the BBC. In 2004 he was raised to life peer. Since 2005 he has been Deputy Chairman of the Israel Group. Since 2008 he has been working at the Ministry of Education.

Young is a member of the British House of Lords.
