Anti-Pasti
Anti- Pasti was a British punk band that was formed in 1979 by vocalist Martin Roper and guitarist Dugi Bell. For the original cast also included Kev Nixon (drums), Will Hoon ( electric bass); Olly Hoon later joined as a second guitarist with the band. The band was supported by the success of Oi! Wave, the first LP ( The Last Call) was 7 weeks in the British charts, with the highest ranking 31
Anti- Pasti dissolved in 1982, when the singer left the band. The remaining members formed the band The Aces were able to give their only single One Way Street / Why Should It Be Mine ( Etc ETC -01) but not to follow the success of anti- pasti. Mid-1984, the project disbanded.
