Antonia Moreira

Antónia Moreira De Fatima ( born April 26, 1982 in Luanda, Angola ) is an Angolan judoka. The 1,70 m tall athlete fights in the class up to 70 kg.

Among the African Judo Championships, she won the 2005 title, secured in 2004, 2011 and 2012, the silver and the bronze medal in 2008 and 2010. The Pan-African Games, she won the 2007 Bronze and 2011 the silver medal.

Moreira took part twice in the Olympic Games. At the 2004 Games in Athens, she was able to prevail in the Round of 32 against the Cuban Anaisis Hernandez and retired in the second round against the North Korean Ryon Mi Kim from.

At the 2012 Games in London Moreira wore at the opening ceremony the flag of their country. Sporty she retired after a bye in the first round and losing to the Colombian and later bronze medalist Yuri Alvear in the second round.
