Antoninus Liberalis

Antoninus liberalism was a Greek writer and Mythograph in the 2nd century AD, probably a freedman of the Emperor Antoninus Pius.

The only preserved by him, us surviving work is his transformation consisting of 41 word collection of metamorphoses ( μεταμορφώσεων συναγωγἠ ), which are largely borrowed their substantive material from older, now lost sources (about Nicander of Colophon and Boios ). Through this bridge his work for today's research is extremely important.
