Antonio Buzzolla

Antonio Buzzolla ( born March 2, 1815 in Adria, † March 20 1871 in Venice) was an Italian composer.

Buzzolla was 1843-44 worked as a conductor at the Italian Opera in Berlin and later returned to Italy and was conductor at the St. Mark's Church (San Marco) in Venice. He wrote several operas and operettas, including " Amleto ", " Feramondo " and " Il matino ". He also joined the group of composers who composed the Messa per Rossini to Verdi's suggestion. From Buzzolla submitted the first two parts of the Mass, "Requiem" and " Kyrie "
