Antonio Ledesma

Antonio Javellana Ledesma, SJ ( born March 28, 1943 in Iloilo City, Iloilo, Philippines) is a Filipino Catholic priest who is Archbishop of Cagayan de Oro since 2006.

Biography

After his ordination to the priesthood on April 16, 1973 Ledesma was more than 20 years as a priest of the Jesuit order, before he was appointed Coadjutor Prelate of Ipil on 13 June 1996 and, as such, on 31 August 1996 by Archbishop Gian Vincenzo Moreni and its co-consecrators Archbishop and Bishop Federico O. Jesus Tuquib Escaler SJ the bishop ordained. A year later, he was then on June 28, 1997 Prelate of Ipil.

On 4 March 2006, self appointed Archbishop of Cagayan de Oro Antonio Ledesma as followers of Jesus Tuquib.
