Antonio Vázquez (archer)

Antonio Vázquez Megido ( born January 26, 1961 in Levinco, Asturias ) is a Spanish archer, who attended from 1980 to 1996 a total of four times in the Olympic Games.

The 1.88-meter Vázquez reached at the Olympic Games in Moscow in 1980, in Seoul in 1988 and Barcelona in 1992 in singles competition each not the Round of 16 participants, in Atlanta in 1996, he scored with number 60, the worst result of his career. With the Spanish club, he did not achieve in 1988 in Seoul also the round of 16 teams. 1992 Barcelona went for the only time since 1920 in a team discipline of archery all Medals to Europe. In the final, the Spaniards were able to defeat Juan Holgado, Alfonso Menéndez and Antonio Vázquez, the Finns and won gold on home soil.
