Apache Forrest

Apache Forrest, an XML publishing framework of the Apache Software Foundation.

It arose out of the need to document software projects, but is now also suitable for the preparation of other websites. The content must be disclosed are normally stored as XML data, the Forrest then using XSLT in the appropriate output format - can convert - HTML or PDF. Since it is based on Apache Cocoon, numerous other input or output formats are also possible.

The latest version is 0.9 dated 7 February 2011 ( as of September 2012).
