Apollo Vredestein B.V.

Vredestein gangs B. V. is a Dutch tire manufacturer based in Enschede, Netherlands. The Vredestein Group was acquired in 2005 by the Russian tire manufacturer Amtel. In the summer of 2009, Vredestein has released from the fallen into insolvency Amtel Group and was adopted shortly thereafter by the Indian tire manufacturer Apollo.

Tire

Founded as a pure rubber products and bicycle tire producer in 1909, the company now produces next to bicycle, car, agricultural and industrial tires in July 2006 also tires for scooters. Vredestein represents about six million car tires per year. Production sites are Enschede, Kirov and Voronezh. Another mainstay is the Consulting tires.
