Applegate Valley AVA

The Applegate Valley AVA is a wine region in the south of the U.S. state of Oregon. The modern viticulture began in this area around the mid- 1960s, the recognition as American Viticultural Area (AVA ) was carried out in 2000. The area is considered the cradle of viticulture in Oregon.
