April Steiner Bennett

April Steiner Bennett (nee Steiner, born April 22, 1980 in Mesa, Arizona) is an American pole vaulter.

In 2004 she was fifth at the U.S. elimination fights ( Trials ) for the Olympic Games in Athens. To finance her training, she took in the same year on the reality show Fear Factor, in which they won the first prize of U.S. $ 50,000.

Her breakthrough occurred in 2007, when she crossed the hall 4.60 meters and won the silver medal at the Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro.

In 2008 she improved her personal best to 4.63 m and 4.60 m was second in the Trials for the Olympic Games in Beijing. There they came with 4.55 m to eighth place.
