Araban

Araban (Kurdish Kele ) is a city and the name of a district in the Turkish province of Gaziantep in Southeast Anatolia. The city has 9,651 araban and the county 31 770 inhabitants ( 2008). Araban is located in the north of the province and borders the provinces of Adiyaman, Sanliurfa and Kahramanmaras. The city is located in the araban level near the rivers Euphrates and Karasu. The core of the city is the fortress araban Raban, who also is called Kale -i Zerrin and namesake of the city.
