Attractions

One of the special attractions in Nizip is still quite preserved church Fevkani Kilisesi. She has several small domes as a roof. The exact construction date and other important information are unknown. Its style is similar to the Byzantine churches that were built in the 11th and 12th centuries. A restoration of this heritage remained from before, because Nizip in the East has, like many other cities too little financial resources. The church served for a time as an inn and was then used as a warehouse. Beginning in early 2010 began the restoration of the church in order to use it as an attraction for tourists.
