The Aragon (Spanish Río Aragón ) is a 195 km long left tributary of the north of the Ebro in the northeast of Spain.

It rises at an altitude of 2,050 m situated in the central Pyrenees, Valle de Astún in the Aragonese province of Huesca, next to the border with France. He leaves the high mountains in a southerly direction, turns in Jaca west and then reached the north of the province of Zaragoza, where he is dammed by the Yesa dam. Below the dam flows through the Aragon in predominantly south west, the Navarra region, where it flows through Alfaro in the Ebro.

The river was the historic Kingdom of Aragon (Spanish Aragón ) his name, after again today with the same autonomous community is named.
