Arantxa Chávez

Aranxta Chávez Muñoz ( born January 30, 1991, Mexico City) is a Mexican Water Diving. It starts in the art of jumping from 1 -meter and 3 -meter board and in the 3 -meter synchronized diving.

Chavez starts for the club Jalisco in Guadalajara, where she is coached by Ivan Bautista. She denied her first international competition at the Junior World Cup 2006 in Kuala Lumpur and 2008 in Aachen and was able to from the 1- m and 3- m- board reached three finals. In the adult area, they first participated in the 2009 World Championships in Rome, where she was eliminated from the 1 -meter board after the preliminaries. Was successful as the year 2011. Chávez won the 1 -meter board their first national title. With Laura Sánchez, she started at the 2011 World Championships in Shanghai in 3 -meter synchronized diving, the duo finished in the final ninth. In the Universiade in Shenzhen, it also won silver in the team. Chavez prevailed at the National Olympic excretion in 2012 and qualified for the Olympic Games in London. There she finished in 29th place out of 30 participants.
