Arbogaån in Arboga

The Arbogaån is a river in Örebro County, Västmanland County in Sweden. It has its origin in the lake Väringen. From there it flows in an easterly direction, passing the city Arboga and flows Kungsör in the west end of the lake Mälaren. The length of the river Arbogaån is 45 km. Including headwaters there are 163 kilometers. The catchment area covers 3808 km ². About the Hjälmare channel of the river is connected to the south Hjälmaren. From Arboga the river is navigable.
