The ARCA Racing Series is an American touring car racing series, which is organized by the Automobile Racing Club of America. It is considered a smaller, but still professional series under the NASCAR Sprint Cup and Nationwide Series.

The race of the series will take place on oval courses of different lengths, from half- mile ovals such as Salem Speedway up to 2.5 -mile ovals such as the Daytona International Speedway. One of the last race series, she moved from the so-called dirt tracks with loose ground on only ausphaltierte routes. The last dirt race was held mid-1990s. Since the 2008 season, is with the New Jersey Motorsports Park, a road course in the racing calendar.

The most successful driver in the series is Frank Kimmel, the nine- time champion, was it between 2000 and 2007 eight times in a row. The series is often used as a stepping stone to the higher touring car series of NASCAR. However, there is no direct connection to NASCAR, the first race was in 1953. Since 1964, the season opening race of the series is part of Speedweeks at Daytona International Speedway.
