Archelaus (father of Archelaus of Cappadocia)

Archelaus (Greek Ἀρχέλαος ) was in the middle of the 1st century BC a priest Prince of Comana in Pontus. He had 55 BC, taken from his eponymous father, who had been briefly Egyptian king this office. His mother's name is unknown.

51 BC Archelaus took part in a coup attempt against the come just to power Ariobarzanes King III. part of Cappadocia. Archelaus ' fate is not known.
