Archimylacris

Archimylacris was in the Upper Carboniferous (more precisely, 300 million years ago ) living arthropod. He was among the first and most primitive cockroaches.

Features

Archimylacris reached about three inches in total length. As he had his living relatives today a head plate with sensors and folding wings.

Way of life

Archimylacris lived in prehistoric England, which was inhabited during the Upper Carboniferous of dense forests. There was a large Artenvielvalt in these forests, and insects such as Archimylacris had become widespread. They lived on the forest floor and ate small plants, insects and carrion.
