Argos and Nauplia

Argos and Nauplia was a medieval rule in Morea.

The de la Roche family owned until 1308, the Duchy of Athens, which was awarded to Walter of Brienne this year. Walter hired the Catalan Company, a group of mercenaries, 1311, but he was overthrown by them. His family remained in the possession of Argos and Nauplia, where his followers called themselves Herzog.
