Ari Mannio

Ari Pekka Mannio ( born July 23, 1987 in Lehtimäki, Southern Ostrobothnia ) is a Finnish javelin thrower. His best performance is 85.70 meters, which he set up in Leppävirta on May 24, 2009.

In Finland, it is not least thanks to its silver medal at the Junior World Championships in 2006 in Beijing at the great young talents. In 2005 he became third in the European Championships for juniors. Due to the strong competition in his home country, he was nominated only as a replacement for the World Athletics Championships in 2009.

At the Olympic Games in 2012 Mannio qualified for the finals, building there but not the final pass of the top eight and finished eleventh.

Ari Mannio has a competition weight of 80 kg at a height of 1.80 m.
