Arie Slob

Arie Slob ( born November 16, 1961 in Nieuwerkerk aan den IJssel ) is a Dutch politician of the ChristianUnion.

From 1993 to 2001 he was responsible for the Gereformeerd Politiek Verbond (GPV ), a precursor of ChristianUnion, member of the municipal council of the municipality of Zwolle. Since 2001 he has been, with a break of half a year in 2002, a member of the Second Chamber of the Dutch Parliament. From 2007 to 2010 he was also Chairman of the Group. Since 28 April 2011 he has been Chairman of the Group again.
