Arild

Arild is a place ( tätort ) in the southern Swedish province of Skåne County and the historical province Scania.

The village in the municipality of Höganäs is one of the bestgehaltenden fishing villages in Sweden, located north-east of Höganäs. On the Northwest side of the nature reserve Kullaberg connects. The name comes from the patron of the place, the holy Arild, Back, whose body was allegedly washed ashore here.

About 40 minutes walk to the rocky coast of Skälderviken is Nimis, a " sculpture - performance" of an art professor from Copenhagen, has a " wooden town " built from collected flotsam and Ark, a book - sculpture made of stone.

Arild is a former artists' with well-known painters such as Gustaf Rydberg, Gustaf Cederström, Fritz von Dardell, Olof Krumlinde, Isaac Grünewald, Natanael Beskow, Rickard Berg, Helene Gries - Danican and Herman Österlund. Many of the Skaagenmalern have settled there in the former inn " Mor Cilla ", now confirmation camp held up.

In Arild is also a native of the Middle Ages, as well as a Catholic chapel chapel.
