Kullaberg

Kullen ( Kulla Mountain ) is the name of a rock formation and the associated environment ( Kullabygd ) in the northwestern Skåne (Sweden ) at the coast of Øresund.

The formation is between one and one and a half kilometers wide and has a length of 16 km; from the Bay Rekarekroken in Skälderviken to the Kattegat reaching the headland. In the eastern part it is about 100 m high.

A literary monument was Kullaberg set by Selma Lagerlof. In the 5th chapter of his journey with the wild geese Nils Holgersson experienced the annual meeting of all the animals on the Kullaberg for peaceful games and dances.
