Arjowiggins

The company Arjowiggins is one of the world's leading paper manufacturer headquartered in Issy -les -Moulineaux. It owns 28 factories in Europe with approximately 8,000 employees. From 1888, it presented papers fro the brand Conqueror.

In Germany Arjowiggins took over in 1991, the brothers Buhl paper mills GmbH & Co. KG in Ettlingen. The work acquired by that company in 1981 in Dettingen an der Erin's was founded in 1861 by Rev. Gustav Werner, to give disabled and socially disadvantaged people work. It is now seat of the German subsidiary.

2001, the European Commission fined Arjowiggins a fine in the amount of 184.3 million euros for anti-competitive agreements in writing printing paper products.

In 2008 the factory in Dettingen / Erms had to pay around 20 million euros for cartel formation.
