Arkadiko Bridge

The bridges of Arkadiko are three buildings from the Mycenaean era, on the road of Nafplio in the Peloponnese after Lygourio in the city Arkadiko. They are the oldest surviving bridges in Greece and were part of a road that (about 1340-1200 BC) Mycenaean centers joined in Späthelladikum IIIB with the port of Palea Epidavros. The road was so broad that they could be driven chariots. This has made it possible to move troops quickly.
