Arkadiusz Mularczyk
Arkadiusz Mularczyk ( born February 4, 1971 in Racibórz ) is a Polish politician and since 2005 member of the Sejm in the V. and VI. Election period.
Life
In 1996 he finished his studies at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University in Krakow, after which he worked from 1997 among other things, in the Office of Legislation of the Senate. From 1998 to 2002 he was a town councilor in Nowy Sacz. In 1999, he passed the exam prior to the commission of the Ministry of the State Treasury for members of supervisory boards of companies of the State Treasury. In 2000 he finished the postgraduate studies " rights and freedom of man " at the International Helsinki Federation for Human Rights in Warsaw. In 2001 he was at the Regional Adwokatenkammer in Krakow the exam for " Adwokaten " ( according to a lawyer ), after which he practiced until 2005 Adwokat.
In the 2005 parliamentary elections, he was with 9,566 votes on the list of Prawo i Sprawiedliwość ( Law and Justice - PiS) elected for the constituency of Nowy Sacz in the Sejm. In the Sejm of the Fifth legislature, he was Deputy Chairman of the Commission for Justice and the Extraordinary Commission for Legislation, Chairman of the Permanent Commission for the amendment of the criminal law, member of the legislative Commission and the Standing Sub- Commission for the Constitutional Tribunal.
The Sejmwahlen 2007, he was confirmed for the PiS with 49,929 votes as a Member. In the Sejm VI. Election period, he is a member of the Commission for Justice and Deputy Chairman of the Commission for legislation. He also sits on the committee of inquiry to investigate cases of illegal political influence exerted on officials of the special services and the judiciary.
He was one of the authors of the so-called "Law for the lustration of persons in public office ," which was considered by the Constitutional Tribunal in large parts as unconstitutional. During the proceedings before the Constitutional Tribunal in this matter he was the representative of the Sejm.
