Arkansas and Missouri Railroad

The Arkansas and Missouri Railroad is a North American Class 2 railway company with headquarters in Springdale (Arkansas ). The Company has a stock of 25 locomotives from ALCO.

The route goes from Monett (Missouri ) to Fort Smith (Arkansas ) with a branch line from Junction to Bentonville Bentonville ( Arkansas) with a total length of 224 km.

Formerly a part of the Central Division of the St. Louis - San Francisco Railway, took over on September 1, 1986 to investors JAHanold the previous Sixth Precinct of the Springfield Division of the Burlington Northern Railroad and founded the Arkansas and Missouri Railroad as an independent company.
