Arnold Kopelson

Arnold Kopelson ( born February 14, 1935 in New York City ) is an American film producer.

Biography

Kopelson, who has a doctorate in law, produced films, brought in a total of 17 Oscar nominations and worldwide revenue in the amount of 2.5 billion U.S. dollars.

He also holds at Harvard University and other universities in the U.S. lectures about movies.

He is married to Anne Kopelson, born Feinberg, the co-supervised many of his films as Executive Producer.

In addition to an Oscar at the Academy Awards in 1987 for Platoon Kopelson was also nominated for the film The Fugitive 1994.

Also Kopelson won an Independent Spirit Award for Platoon.
