Arnsbach is a village in the Schwalm - Eder district in northern Hesse and since 1974 a district of Borken. It is first mentioned in 1245 when Arne Bach. The district Arnsbach is located in the west of Borken basin and has a size of approximately 688 hectares. In Arnsbach about 560 people.

History

Excavations 1936/37, carried out under the direction of Edward Sang champion of the Institute of Prehistory and Early History of the University of Marburg, found a settlement of the Arnsbacher space even for the Neolithic Age (Neolithic ). The first mention Arnsbachs in 1245 took place in connection with the possession of the Teutonic Order.
