Arnuwanda III. ( † around 1214 BC ) was a Hittite Great King.

Life

Arnuwanda was a son Tudhalija IV. As this approximately 1215 BC, died Arnuwanda was Great King. He reigned for only about a year. The sources report that the people of the country Hattuša would have brought against him. Then his brother Suppiuliuma had become Great King. About the other circumstances of the uprising nothing is known except for the fact that Arnuwanda - in what way is not mentioned - died. Suppiuliuma left, presumably to ask his own justification anywhere if there was a woman who was pregnant by Arnuwanda. But such was not found.
