Around the World with Willy Fog

Around the World with Willy Fog (Spanish: La vuelta al mundo de Willy Fog, Japanese:アニメ80日间 世界 一周Anime Hachijū Nichikan Sekai Isshu ), is one of BRB Internacional in 1981 produced and animated by Nippon Animation animated series with 26 episodes of the based on the novel around the World in 80 Days by Jules Verne. Unlike the novel, the characters are here but played by animals. The series was continued with Willy Fog 2 ( With Willy Fog to the Center of the Earth and Willy Fog on the trail of the Nautilus).

Action

The English businessman Willy Fog bets with the unfriendly banker Sullivan and three other members of a gentleman clubs to 20,000 British pounds, half of his fortune that he can circumnavigate the world in 80 days exactly and in order before the deadline of December 21, 1872 20:45 clock arrives again in the London club. Yet his faithful servant Rigodon and his friend Tico should accompany him. Production and Publications

The series was animated by Nippon Animation on behalf of BRB Internacional. The screenplay was written by Ryuzo Nakanishi, after the presentation of Jules Verne; Was directed by Fumio Kurokawa and Luis Ballester Bustos. The music is in the Japanese version of Shunsuke Kikuchi, in the Spanish and German by Guido De Angelis and Maurizio De Angelis.

The Spanish broadcaster RTVE beamed the series first time in 1983 from the Japanese Air Date took place on 10 October 1987 to 26 March 1988. The German version was first shown in 1989 on Tele 5. In the 1980er/90er years, the consequences were 1-6 and 17-19 released on video. 2003, the first nine episodes of the label " Icestorm " were released on three DVDs.
