Guido & Maurizio De Angelis

Guido & Maurizio De Angelis are the brothers Guido ( born December 22, 1944 in Rocca di Papa, Italy ), and Maurizio de Angelis ( born February 22, 1947 in Rome, Italy).

The brothers De Angelis were primarily known as a film composer; they wrote over 170 film scores, including for numerous movies with Bud Spencer and Terence Hill or the spaghetti western Keoma (1976 ) Enzo G. Castellari of. Often, especially for single releases their title songs, they used the name of the English writer Oliver Onions as a pseudonym. Also various other names they took on, as Dilly Dilly, The Black Stones, Canary Jones, Donald & Olimpio, Barqueros, Sunrise, Gulliver and Juniper.

Their most successful song was Santa Maria, of the six weeks at No. one on the charts occupied, was awarded a gold record and also in the German version with Roland Kaiser was very successful in 1980 in Germany. The brothers De Angelis began her career as a guitarist; Maurizio graduated then in composition and harmony, while Guido was trained on the flute.
